Did Snakes have Limbs To Crawl in Earlier days ??

SNAKESSSS

It sounds funny.....isn't it ??
SNAKES CAN COIL ON A BRANCH
.
.
.
.
But its very true.... Snakes had limbs long time ago. They crawled upon them just like other reptiles !!

FOSSIL ( 900 years old ) OF A SNAKE SHOWING PRESENCE OF LIMBS

It is evident from the X-ray picture of a snake. There are four small processions of Bones to the Vertebra of the Snake - 2 in front and 2 hind. It is same as the tail bone of the Humans. The beginning part of the tail bone is still visible in humans.

With evolution, the Ape lost its Tail and the Snake - its Limbs.

Now that the Snake glides on the ground, it uses its entire body for locomotion. Its body forms waves.

SNAKE SWIMMING IN WATER

These waves help it to move diagonally forward on ground and swim straight ahead in water.

THE END !!
